A Property Fixology kitchen renovation starts with how you actually use the space — the way you cook, host, and live in the room. Jeremy designs the layout around your habits, then builds it with custom cabinetry, stone countertops, and the lighting that actually makes the room work in the morning.

We handle every part of the project — demolition, structural changes if the layout calls for them, cabinetry, counters, tile, plumbing, electrical, lighting, paint, and final detailing. Jeremy is on site through all of it.

Most contractors treat historic homes as problems to solve. We treat them as work to honour. Jeremy walks
the home and looks first for what’s worth keeping — the trim profiles, the tilework, the proportions the original
architect cared about. The renovation then works around those decisions. Modern comforts get added;
original character doesn’t get lost. That’s the whole job.

It depends on scope, materials, and the condition of what’s already there. You’ll get approximate budget numbers at the walk-through and a firm, line-by-line figure in the written specification before any work begins.
Most kitchens take roughly six to ten weeks from demolition to final detail, depending on scope, custom cabinetry lead times, and any structural changes. The written plan commits to a specific timeline before work begins.
Yes. Bring the designer you already trust and the collaboration is peer-to-peer; if you don’t have one, Jeremy brings in an independent designer. Either way, Jeremy stays accountable for the build.
Not the kitchen itself. We set up a temporary cooking station elsewhere in the home (a portable cooktop, microwave, kettle, fridge access) and minimise disruption to the rest of the house. Most clients tell us the inconvenience felt shorter than they expected.
