Most trim work gets ordered from the catalogue and installed against the wall. Ours starts with proportion — the height of the room, the scale of the windows, the era of the home — and gets drawn before it gets cut. Jeremy works the proportions on paper, then again in the room before final install. The reason the millwork looks built-in is because it was designed to be.

What's the difference between built-in millwork and freestanding furniture?
Built-ins are designed for the room — they sit flush to the wall, run to the ceiling, and use the room’s specific dimensions. Freestanding furniture is sized to a catalogue. Both have a place, but built-ins are what make a home feel finished rather than furnished.
Do you do period-matched trim for historic homes?
Yes. Matching original trim profiles in a Winter Park 1920s home requires identifying the profile, sourcing material that takes paint and stain correctly, and reproducing it cleanly. It’s slower than catalogue work — and it shows.
Can you build a library, media room, or mudroom from scratch?
Yes — full design and build. Built-ins for libraries, media rooms, mudrooms, walk-in closets and home offices are all common projects. The design starts with how you’ll actually use the space.
How long does a typical millwork project take?
It depends on scope — a single built-in is a shorter project than whole-room paneling and trim, and custom material lead times factor in. The written plan commits to a specific timeline.
