Jeremy specifies materials for the humidity load, sizes ventilation for the square footage and orientation, and installs storm windows to the spec that actually matters when wind speeds rise. The work can also reduce insurance premiums, once it’s documented properly.

They can, often significantly. Florida homeowner’s insurance prices in wind-mitigation features explicitly — impact-rated windows, doors and roof tie-downs can reduce premiums when documented properly. We provide wind-mitigation documentation as part of the project.

It depends on the number of openings, sizes and frame type. You’ll get an approximate budget at the walk-through and a firm, per-home figure in the written specification.

Ventilation sizing, moisture barriers, mould-resistant materials. Many older Central Florida homes have undersized attic ventilation, missing crawlspace barriers, and bathroom fans that don’t move enough air. We address each at the source, not with band-aids.

Yes — and we’d prefer to. Storm-window installs, ventilation work and waterproofing are all easier to do well outside the June–November season. We plan around the calendar where possible.
